Congratulations
to Finlay, who was nominated because of his excellent performance
during the recent grading. Since achieving 8th Kyu (Yellow belt) Finlay
has grown in confidence and is showing a great attitude towards his
karate.

The
grading held on Monday 31st March 2008 was once again very successful.
Well done to everyone especially with the new OTGKA / IOGKF grading
syllabus. All your efforts paid off and for some of our students this is

Winchester Training
Sat/Sun March 29th & 30th 2008
Sensei
George Andrews, Chief Instructor of OTGKA, visited Winchester dojo for a
weekend of great training. Sensei Andre and Sensei Daphne trained on
Sunday after a very quick drive down the motorway having not realised
the clocks had gone forwards!
Tooting Training
Saturday 12th April 2008
Our
instructor, Sensei Linda invited Sensei George Andrews, Chief
Instructor of OTGKA and her instructor of 24 years for training at the
Tooting Dojo. The day was a first for the Tooting dojo and everyone had a
very successful day. Six of our children attended the event with the
feedback being that Sensei George is very nice and funny. The children
also had a bonus of doing an hour of the adult session before Sensei
George started really working the adults for some great training. We
will post photos and a report on the web site shortly.
Honbu Training

Sensei
George Andrews, Chief Instructor of OTGKA, welcomes all adult grades
for training at the Honbu dojo in London. This course is especially
important to those students going for grading at the June weekend
